“ Love this location! They make a salad you can't find elsewhere (or at least not at the South San Francisco location) -- Chicken Katsu. The BEST Starbird salad, and better than any salad at Chick-fil-A. I happen to prefer their grilled chicken -- they make it SO good there -- and the flavors of the Katsu sauce and the dressing plus the edamame and other ingredients make for one helluva good salad. ”

So don't come here if your in a rush to board. The chicken burrito is hearty but a bit spicey. Worth the try. ”

Only problem is the price, but then again, airport location. Despite in the airport, it's surprisingly not really packed. No big lines. Despite being in an airport, this spot offers high-quality, flavorful food that far exceeds typical airport dining options. I ordered the Starbird Meal, which is a fried chicken sandwich, and it was absolutely incredible. The chicken was perfectly fried--crispy on the outside, juicy and moist on the inside. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the sandwich was perfectly balanced with fresh toppings and a soft, toasted bun. The fries that came with the meal were also a standout--crispy, golden, and seasoned just right. It was a satisfying, comforting meal that I'd definitely order again. My wife went for the Starbird 2.0 Meal, which didn't disappoint either. The chicken was equally delicious, and the added flavor profile in the 2.0 version was a great twist. We didn't get into specifics of the differences, but she was more than happy with her choice. Our son had the Kids Meal, which came with chicken tenders, fries, and a drink. The tenders were just as good as the fried chicken--crispy and tender on the inside. The fries were a perfect match, and the meal was a great size for a child. Overall, Starbird at SFO is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a tasty, high-quality meal while traveling. The food is flavorful, fresh, and a cut above the typical airport food. “ I'm so glad that I stumbled upon Starbird Chicken while roaming Terminal 1! I knew I'd need something filling for my long flight, and their Chicken Chop Salad caught my eye. It came with crispy chicken, tomatoes, roasted corn, avocado mash, pepitas, crispy tortillas, cotija, and a delicious Chipotle Lime Dressing. The chicken was tender, crispy, and juicy and the dressing tired everything together perfectly - it's honestly one of the best salads I've had in a while! I ordered from the kiosk and the staff who gave me my order was super friendly. I'll definitely be crossing my fingers for more Terminal 1 flights just so I can grab this salad again! ”
